Fantastic!  Now I feel like a fool for taping 50,000 hours of old radio!  But, on the other hand, I’ve been able to enjoy them for the last 40 years.

Thanks,

Mike

I was thinking a couple of “Command Performance” programs from during the war pre-1945 would give them a variety of music, comedy, etc. that were MC’d  by Bob Hope and Bing Crosby with other stars as guests. I taped from V-disks for 3 years, so I’ve got a lot of everything, but “Command Performance” shows have the variety that might work best. What do you think?

Joe,

Do you want music or old radio drama?  I was at AFN Europe for 3 years before my tour in Vietnam.

Would you happen to know where and/or how I could get some digital copies of some old AFR radio shows from the 40s???  Want to get some music for the Iowa museum.

Joe,

First, Did this Rod Simmons do a tour in Diego Garcia/Argentia?  Second, sometimes JOC Art Frith comes up with the strangest of things, and always great to listen to.  I have listed him in the 'cc' block.

GI Jills?  Big Band remotes?  If I don't have it, I'm sure Paul does.
